Rural Communities Initiative

This project has three components - Desert Protection project, stopping the siting of unsafe facilities in the deserts of southern California, Pesticide Organizing Project, to reduce the use of pesticides in our communities; and the Community Awareness and Monitoring Project (CAMP) to provide training and supply computers, modems and software to rural community groups in order to enhance their ability to communicate and obtain information on air pollution issues.
