SALTA's First Graduating Class from the Desert Congratulations to the first SALTA class in the desert area. The promotoras (environmental promoters) came from different parts of the desert such as Coachella, Indio, Salton Sea, La Quinta, Bermuda Dunes, Palm Desert, Cathedral City, and Mecca. The knowledge that they have obtained can now be shared with other community members that are also interested in improving the environment around their homes and their communities. We will begin our second part of SALTA at our Indio office on November 29, 2007 with these new promotoras. This class is called ADVANCED SALTA. We are also starting a SALTA class in Mecca in the month of November 2007. Again, Congratulations to the new Promotoras in the desert area!
